Defibrillator (AED)

Defibrillators are a vital link in the first aid chain of survival and are becoming more and more common in the workplace and in public amenities.

Ashgrove First Aid can provide a 1-day (6 hour) training course specifically designed to teach the use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED).  The course includes:

  • Portable DefibrillatorBasic life-support training (including the techniques of cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, or CPR)
  • Demonstration and practice, using training AEDs
  • Care and maintenance and of the AED

The course complies with the most recent changes in CPR protocols and European Resuscitation Council guidelines for AED use.
